Suzanne and I are very proud of our kids and the success of their manufacturing company Shark Trolling Products. We attended the King of Kings pro salmon fishing tournament at Bluffer's Park this past weekend. It's the biggest pro tournament in Canada. We went there to meet with our Shark Pro Staff Teams from Canada and the USA, and to officially launch a new product. It was a huge success, we met old friends, made many new ones. Shark products have dominated tournaments around the world for the last 15 years, but this new product has gone viral on social media, and is skyrocketing in popularity on the water with consumers. With over 40 of the top pro teams competing, most of them were equipped with Shark products. It has been a tough road over the past 15 years, plenty of blood, sweat, and tears, I'm sure there will be plenty more ahead. We would like to thank all our friends from around the world who have supported us along the way, we could not have do...

Diabolical Indeed: Congratulations to Captain Mark McClutchey and the crew of Team Diabolical Sportfishing, winner of the Big Fish Award on prefish Friday. The lads made the long trip up from Michigan to compete in Canada's biggest pro tournament, King of Kings at Bluffer's Park in Toronto. They won first place out of 40 teams and somehow my official Sharkman hat. I was pleased to hand it over when I found out they used Sharks to win. They also informed me they want to go to Bornholm Denmark next spring to compete against 400 pro Viking Teams, the ultimate challenge. I have been trying to make this happen for many years, this could be it. I advised them Shark would be happy to contribute to the effort to make this happen. As it turned out, we were already friends on facebook, but now we are friends for real, a great bunch of guys. Sadly the main event was cancelled due to wind. At least everybody had a great time fishing on the pre fish day. Suzanne and I had a w...

15 years ago Shark showed up at the Oswego Pro Am, Coldsteel won the day and the $1000 special Shark prize. Best G note we ever spent, the rest was history. Hundreds of wins over the years, Shark Cannonballs and A-TOM-MIK Flies ruled the waves; we still do. Fast forward 2016, Tom Allen puts some local color on the new Shark Tournament Flashers and calls it "The Money Shot"; it went viral. Thanks Tom, we are going to give it our best shot at the biggest tourney on the lake. See you there.

Congratulations Geoff D Way for posting the first pic of a King Salmon caught on our new Shark Flasher on Lake Ontario. Geoff doctored the flasher to his own liking, he calls it Crush chameleon uv; looks like it worked really well. Geoff is also experimenting with custom painting the flashers. Thanks Geoff, now go get some more.

Some new samples in today, the injection molds still need polishing to make the flasher crystal clear. We want to display the twists and turns, this is not a flat paddle board. It is real Shark facets for generating our famous sound signature. We put the activator fins on opposite sides of the flasher for better control at slower speeds. The custom stickers have the adhesive on the color side so we could stick them on the back of the flasher to have the color shine through the facets from behind: way cool.
