Shark Trolling Products is extremely proud to congratulate Captain Vince Pierleoni and his dynamic team Thrillseeker for the second time this summer. We were very humbled when Captain Vince joined the Shark Pro Staff program earlier this season, we were taken back when he swept the Challenge Cup Series. Pardon the expression, we were absolutely thrilled when he did it again at the 2 nd Annual A-TOM-MIK Invitational. Thrillseeker landed 6 monster salmon weighing 156 lbs, and they did it while they were fighting high winds and high seas. It was the ultimate compliment when Captain Vince shared his victory strategy, Thrillseeker used 20 lb Sharks for both wins. We have known for some time the big Sharks outperform our trusty standby 15 lb Sharks, hands down, even in shallow water; but who is going to listen to us? Captain Vince settled the argument once and for all, it is no longer a theory: Big Facets, Big Fish, Big Sharks = Big Wins. Not only did the big Sharks behave

Ed Dzenis   Toronto Star - “ The tiny danger lurking in the waters of Lake Ontario” . This is the actual link, but it does not work, some clever programmer went to the trouble to deactivate the link when it is posted to Facebook; what is up with that? ...but you can Google it to find the story. We drink this stuff, our kids drink the stuff, it causes cancer etc etc. I know that alone won't motivate us to do anything; but when we come to the realization King Salmon filter this stuff everyday of their lives and will ultimately affect how big they grow. Now we have a problem. This is not a new hydro dynamic downrigger weight. It is a Manta, from New York. These bright kids from New York took it upon themselves to run it on Lake Ontario. They found twice as many micro plastic beads than was found on the "Plastic Island" in the Pacific; the island the size of New Jersey. I tried to copy link to the story, the link fell apart when I tried to post it. It is no

"Thank you for being a sponsor for the Lake Ontario ProAm series.   We have been using your products from the inception.  I have tried various downrigger weights over the years.  None even come close to "Sharks".  They track great even in the worst of conditions.   We have won tournaments, the Eastern Challenge Cup and numerous top 10 finished with your product.   We look forward to using them in the future."  Captain Al Adomitis:  Team Hook-N-Up New York Thanks Captain Al for your kind words, and for your support over so many years, that's what keeps us going. A Red Letter Day for Shark Huge 10 ft waves with heavy cross chop converged at the Sodus Pro Am this past weekend, but the champions rose to occasion. We are always thrilled when the top teams in the sport win important tournaments using our products. We are equally thrilled to hear our Sharks performed admirably in the high waves; they did not tangle up... and they did the job. Thrillseeker, A-TOM-MIK, and Cold Steel have been winning with Sharks for a long time. More importantly, they use Sharks in their everyday charter fishing business. Team Thrillseeker Captain Vince Pierlioni won the Challenge Cup at Sodus Team Thrillseeker Captain Vince Pierleoni Will do! Yes, we used the 20lb sharks and they performed fantastic in those incredible waves of 8 feet plus with a cross chop. We did lose a 20lb black shark due to human error. It was the most extreme weather I have ever fished a tourny in, and the sharks helped us produce the best King catch of the

Extreme Sound Signature The pattern you see in the picture is the sound signature of an Extreme Shark, yes it was dropped in the water.  However at normal trolling speed of 3 mph, water travels over the facet pattern at 7 feet per second.  This sound signature wave pattern travels outward from both sides of the Shark as it moves forward.  This wave pattern can easily be detected by the lateral line on the side of a salmon.  This is the reason so many anglers use Shark Cannonballs.

As Good As It Gets

Image
As Good As It Gets! We are truly blessed to have some of the best fishermen in the world on our Shark Pro Staff Team. Ove, Dan and Anders, otherwise known as Team Extreme have consistently won top honours at National Championships all over Scandinavia for the past ten years. Bornholm is the biggest tournament in the land of the Vikings, conceivably the biggest tournament in the sport. This year 230 teams competed for top honours; Team Extreme placed third. They have demonstrated year after year they know where the fish are, and they know exactly how to catch them. Team Extreme has been using the Shark Cannonball as their primary attractor whenever they compete; once again they have been gracious enough to share the limelight with us. Just as important, Ove relies on Sharks for his everyday charter business. Team Extreme has been also been demonstrating our new Shark Tournament Spoons are the perfect compliment to our Shark Cannonballs. I know I say this every year, b

|Hi Frank:  This is what I was talking about regarding the field of vision.  When the camera is embedded in the body of the Shark, it can articulate in any direction to see everything around the camera.  When the camera is pointing backwards, it can only see what is behind.  You can always see the video platform on your fish finder because the Shark is always under the boat, not trailing far behind.  I will send out the proto type for you to test.  I will also be sending one to Tommy at Jakt & Frilult our agent in Norway.

Go Pro Goes Extreme I built the Go Pro Underwater Camera Housing for Frank Ronny Johansen of the A Team in Norway.  The A Team is one of our top international pro staff teams.  Frank did a great article on the Go Pro camera's so I figured he would be the guy to test this thing out. This is the email I sent to him.   Hi Frank: Check it out, I custom built this pro type Underwater Mobile Camera Housing for your Go Pro camera. I will ship out to Norway on Monday. I was inspired by your excellent article about Go Pro, and I figured you would by motivated to use thi s custom housing to it's full potential; so I built it. This underwater housing is basically a 20 pound Mega Shark with a hole in the middle to accommodate a Go Pro camera. The structural integrity of the Shark body was comprimised with the removal of the material, so it was necessary to add a steel re-enforced frame. By removing the lead from the cavity area, it also reduced the weight of the Shark down to abou

Thank you Lakeland Inc for the outstanding coatings on our new Shark Tournament Spoons.  Available very soon.  Talk to your favorite tackle shops; make sure they stock Shark Tournament Spoons this season. In Scandinavia contact Jakt & Frilult.  We will be offering all the popular colors and patterns.  Shark Spoons have the same facet pattern as Shark Cannonballs.  It makes sense to run Shark Spoons behind Shark Cannonballs; a winning combination.
