King of Kings Tournament

Image
We fished the King of Kings Tightlines at Bluffers Park, and found wicked currents as the lake is trying to setup.  We were able to catch the biggest king of the event using Shark Cannonballs. Not one tangle with all the currents.  Thanks for an awesome product. Captain Casey Prisco

A Proud Day for Team Scotty, And A Proud Day for Shark

Image
Shark Cannonballs is very proud to be associated with this very distinguished group of professional tournament fishermen known as Team Scotty. Ryan Hare, Greg Amiel, Dan Ayton Lee and Matt Santoro were victorious at the spring Tightlines Tournament on Lake Ontario; they battled against the best teams on the lake and won. Congratulations Team Scotty!!!! We are proud our Pro Staff members use Sharks in the everyday charter fishing and we are very proud and grateful the team has acknowledged Shark plays a key role every time they go out fishing. “Thank you very much for the support. Sharks played a key role in helping win the Spring Tightlines. Fishing deep program with short leads on our riggers was key in getting the bites we needed to put together our winning box. Thanks again Captain Ryan Hare Team Scotty

17 Pound Shark Cannonball?

Our 20 pound Mega Shark has been a proven winner, but it has also taken a toll on equipment. The 17 pound Shark could be the answer.  Send us an email shark@sharkcannonballs.com and let us know your thoughts.

Shark Sound Signature

Image
The oscillating line in this graphic is similar in shape to a curved facet on a Shark Cannonball. The oscillating movement represents what happens when water travels across the ridges and troughs of a facet, the size and placement of these facets create a low frequency sound signature, also known as ultra sound. Oscillating cycles of compression and decompression (sound waves)  literally travels for miles underwater; five times faster than it does in air.  When the Shark travels through the water, this same sound pattern is generated by every facet pointing in every direction.  At an average trolling speed, water travels over the facets at a rate of seven feet per second. One regular Shark has 350 facets, Extreme Sharks have 750 deep facets. When you have 4 Sharks ripping up the surf, it sounds like a giant school of bait.. That is the simple explanation and that is why tens of thousands of anglers all over the world(at least 40,000) have been using Sharks for the past 14
