Predator Pipeline http://youtu.be/uunA-I2jvWQ

http://youtu.be/uunA-I2jvWQ Not exactly as shown, but pretty close. The nerve bundle is microscopic, the fish has lateral line canals above and below the eye and the jaw, this is the side lateral line. The anatomy has been simplified; pressure waves enter the tubes carrying a sonic signature, this wave tickles the little cilea hairs and fire a message to the brain letting the predator know a school of noisy bait is not too far away. The water molecule is special, it cannot be compressed; it is the only molecule that cannot be compressed.  Ultra sound (low frequency) sound will carry for miles underwater, even around mountains.  The pinging sound of an air bladder is the sound all predators are listening for. 14 years of data from the top angler in the world are telling us Sharks attract predators in the deep dark water, for sure it is the sound signature. It can't be anything else, too dark to see, scent does not travel sideways.

This is an outtake from our new high definition animation, a close up look at how a lateral line is used by predator fish to find a disturbance in the force.  Try looking at it on a big screen.
