Shark Sound Signature

The oscillating line in this graphic is similar in shape to a curved facet on a Shark Cannonball. The oscillating movement represents what happens when water travels across the ridges and troughs of a facet, the size and placement of these facets create a low frequency sound signature, also known as ultra sound. Oscillating cycles of compression and decompression (sound waves)  literally travels for miles underwater; five times faster than it does in air.  When the Shark travels through the water, this same sound pattern is generated by every facet pointing in every direction.  At an average trolling speed, water travels over the facets at a rate of seven feet per second. One regular Shark has 350 facets, Extreme Sharks have 750 deep facets. When you have 4 Sharks ripping up the surf, it sounds like a giant school of bait.. That is the simple explanation and that is why tens of thousands of anglers all over the world(at least 40,000) have been using Sharks for the past 14 years when they go fishing.
