A Red Letter Day for Shark

Huge 10 ft waves with heavy cross chop converged at the Sodus Pro Am this past weekend, but the champions rose to occasion. We are always thrilled when the top teams in the sport win important tournaments using our products. We are equally thrilled to hear our Sharks performed admirably in the high waves; they did not tangle up... and they did the job. Thrillseeker, A-TOM-MIK, and Cold Steel have been winning with Sharks for a long time. More importantly, they use Sharks in their everyday charter fishing business.

Will do! Yes, we used the 20lb sharks and they performed fantastic in those incredible waves of 8 feet plus with a cross chop. We did lose a 20lb black shark due to human error. It was the most extreme weather I have ever fished a tourny in, and the sharks helped us produce the best King catch of the tourny and win the Eastern Cup Championship.

Second overall Challenge Cup

Team Cold Steel Captain Tom Burke

"The only downer of the weekend was a bad rigger cable, allowing one of our treasured Shark weights to swim to the bottom of lake Ontario I have told you many times but worth repeating. Despite big waves and terrible currents we never get a tangle with our shark weights! Always track true!!!"

Second Place Sodus Pro Am
