Shark Attack New York Pro Am
Congratulation's Captain Del and Team Liquid Plumber
Coming off an eighth-place finish in this year’s Niagara County tournament that he followed with a third in Orleans County, Del Casterline’s catch on Saturday was not only the best in the Amateur Division, but his overall score was better than any team in the all divisions. Captian Del credits his win to the custom painted Shark Cannonballs he was using" The Sharks definetely attract fish, I painted the tops of some 15 pound Sharks with black paint, and left the underside chrome."Based on 10 points per fish and a point per pound, Casterline’s Liquid Plumber team flushed away all other competitors with a total score of 206.06 points. Casterline’s finishes in the Niagara and Orleans events earned him the 2009 Western Challenge Cup, and he appears to be well on his way in his pursuit of the Eastern and perhaps even the lake-wide cup in the Amateur Division.Casterline’s home is in Mountaintop, Pa., but he spends most of his summer in Oswego pursuing his passion for fishing the rich waters of Lake Ontario.
