There were 20 boats out fishing aroud me and we caught and released over 35 Kokanee, Trout and salmon. Here is a picture of 2 limits of Kokanee Salmon with the largest 2 at 19 inches. So when we heard news from our friend and Pro Staff member Mike Cessnun up in Ketchecan Alaska, it was time to pitch in and send our positive thoughts and wishes to Mike and his family. Mike suffered a major stroke while he was in Seattle attending the boat show. He spent four months in the hospital, but the really great news is Mike is battling through this ordeal with impressive progress. Hot colors are great on a nice day when you are fishing shallow and there is lots of light. However, if you are fishing deep, there is very little light down there; the hot colors are not so hot in the dark. When it is dark, sound is all you have to attract the fish.
